What we do
Oxfam Scotland is part of a global community of people who believe in a kinder, and radically better world, where everyone has the power to thrive not just survive. We believe we can overcome poverty by fighting the injustices and inequalities that fuel it.
We work together with like-minded partners, learning together and enabling one another, to influence decision-makers in Scotland to build the fairer, greener, more equal country we all want to live in.
We also work to ensure that Scotland also plays its part in supporting communities internationally facing the consequences of poverty and humanitarian crises, while collaborating with Oxfam colleagues and their partners across the UK and globally to deliver deep and lasting change.
Tackling the drivers of poverty and inequality in Scotland.
Pushing for fast and fair emissions cuts in Scotland and globally.
Standing up for the rights of people who care, and those they care for, to live free from poverty.
Ensuring Scotland’s solidarity with communities facing disasters, poverty and climate change.
