Jamie Livingstone Head of Oxfam Scotland

Jamie was appointed Head of Oxfam Scotland in late 2013 having joined as Campaigns and Communications Manager in 2011. Jamie was previously a print and broadcast journalist. He oversees Oxfam’s policy, advocacy, campaigns and communications in Scotland. Jamie is a Director of Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, plays a leading role within the Disasters Emergency Committee in Scotland and sits on the Scottish Government’s Humanitarian Emergency Fund Panel. He is a fellow of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society.

Katherine May Advocacy Adviser

Katherine joined Oxfam Scotland in 2026 and leads on Oxfam’s policy, advocacy and influencing in Scotland. Prior to that, she was a civil servant at the Scottish Government for nearly a decade working in a range of policy roles to promote equality, children’s rights and human rights. Most recently she was the International Human Rights Policy Lead. She holds an LLM in Human Rights from the University of Edinburgh.

Rebecca’s role is to deal with all Scottish media enquiries and to generate as much positive media coverage as possible for Oxfam’s work and campaigns in Scotland. She is also responsible for Oxfam Scotland’s social media activity.

Adrian Doherty Social & Digital Media Volunteer

Adrian’s long-term voluntary role involves publishing press releases & events to our blog; creating & editing images & video; looking after our full suite of digital assets & social networks, particularly out-of-hours; helping support staff & volunteers in all aspects of social & digital media. He also works full-time in his own day-job as an experienced IT professional.
